Hall Booth Smith Expands Nashville Office with Partner Jim Embrey

Hall Booth Smith, P.C. is expanding its office in Nashville, Tennessee, with the addition of Partner James R. Embrey, Jr.

Mr. Embrey specializes in the full spectrum of professional negligence and health care liability, transportation, general liability, product liability and insurance coverage matters.

He has extensive experience representing Fortune 500 companies and individual professionals at trial, and has unparalleled insights into the needs of clients from his earlier career work as managing counsel and general counsel for major insurance corporations.

This dual experience helps Mr. Embrey anticipate the needs of clients and better understand the motivations of counterparties so he can provide exceptional and efficient defense service.

Mr. Embrey earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Tennessee, and he holds a Bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from Austin Peay State University. Earlier in his career, Mr. Embrey served as an Airborne Infantryman in the United States Army with the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and was awarded the Combat Infantryman’s Badge for his service in the Middle East.
