Hall Booth Smith Welcomes Ann Baird Bishop as Of Counsel in Atlanta

ATLANTA – May 2, 2019 – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. welcomes longtime workers’ compensation attorney Ann Baird Bishop as Of Counsel in its Atlanta office.

Bishop has focused most of her more than 40-year legal career on workers’ compensation matters, defending employers and insurers in a wide variety of claims. Earlier in her career, she and 21 others formed Drew Eckl Farnham, where she was selected as the first female partner.

Bishop later became the founding member of A. B. Bishop & Associates, where she represented self-insured employers and insurance companies. She merged her firm with Sponsler, Bennett, Jacobs & Adams in 2013, and, in 2014, it became known as Sponsler, Bishop, Koren & Hammer.

Bishop earned a JD from Mercer University School of Law, where she was a member of the Editorial Board of the Mercer Law Review and Secretary of the Student Bar Association. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University.

“Ann’s expertise and knowledge of all facets of workers’ compensation issues will be a tremendous value to our clients as we expand that practice to meet our clients’ needs,” said Alex Booth, managing partner of Hall Booth Smith.
