Hall Booth Smith Welcomes New Associates Todd Robinson and Josh Silk

HBS is pleased to welcome Todd Robinson and Josh Silk, as new associates to our Atlanta office.  Robinson, who grew up in Athens, Georgia, started his career as a Child Protection Worker for Fulton County where he investigated child neglect and abuse.  He also was employed in England in a similar capacity where he managed a team of child protection workers.  Robinson attended the University of Georgia to obtain his B.S.W. and Emory University for where he earned his J.D.  Prior to arriving at HBS, Robinson worked for a civil litigation firm where he concentrated on business litigation issues and successfully represented clients in such areas as contract disputes, banking, shareholder and partner disputes, real estate, business torts and business divorces. Robinson has successfully overturned an award of attorney’s fees on appeal in Best v. CB Decatur Court and represented an ER staffing company against a hospital breach of contract case that included violations of EMTALA. Mr. Robinson is married and a new father of a 13 week old son.

Josh Silk is a Georgia native who graduated cum laude from Syracuse University with a dual major in History and Political Science.  He graduated magna cum laude from the University Of Georgia School Of Law.  While attending the University Of Georgia School Of Law, Silk served on the Editorial Board and as a notes editor for the Georgia Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif.  Silk has served a 2 year term with the United States Court of Appeals as a Staff Attorney for the Eleventh District.  His prior experience also includes employment at W. Pitts Carr & Associates, where he focused on professional liability defense, general liability and class actions.
