Hall Booth Smith’s Towery Wins Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award

ATLANTA – May 17, 2019 – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. attorney Matt Allen Towery has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Marquis Who’s Who Publications Board, which recognizes lawyers who have achieved career longevity and excellence in their chosen field.

Towery is Of Counsel and Chair of the Government Affairs and Public Policy practice group at HBS’s Atlanta headquarters office, and he has been with the firm since 2013. He is also a nationally syndicated columnist, author, political analyst, consultant and commentator for FOX News and other national television networks.

A former member of the Georgia House of Representatives and the Republican nominee for Lieutenant Governor in 1990, Towery has served as a strategist in numerous national and statewide political campaigns, and in the 1990s he was Chairman of then-House Speaker Newt Gingrich’s political organization.

Earlier in his career, Towery served as the CEO of several companies including what was the largest sheet-fed commercial printer in the Southeast upon the time of its acquisition by a publicly traded company in 1998.
