Hall Booth Smith Welcomes Attorney Jacob A. Young to the Charlotte Office
Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is pleased to welcome Associate Jacob A. Young to its Charlotte office, where he will represent clients in complex civil litigation involving business disputes, insurance coverage, premises and products liability, transportation, real estate, fiduciary matters, general liability, and professional malpractice.

Jacob assists clients throughout the litigation process, including case assessment and strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediation, and preparation for hearings and trial. He has appeared in North Carolina state and federal courts and has supported trial teams during court proceedings, including serving as second chair.
His experience also includes conducting legal research and preparing motions, memoranda, and other case-related materials across a variety of industries and disputes. Earlier in his career, Young worked on real estate and civil litigation matters, assisting with title research, closing documents, transactional work, and litigation support.
Jacob earned his Juris Doctor from Campbell University School of Law, where he served as Chief Justice of the Honor Court and held leadership positions with the Student Bar Association and other student advocacy organizations.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with distinction, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also completed minors in history and philosophy, politics, and economics.
