HBS Hosts 2011 Republican Lawyer of the Year, Randy Evans

On November 30, 2011, the Georgia Chapter of the Republican National Lawyers Association and the law firm Hall Booth Smith hosted a reception in honor of Randy Evans. The event was a celebration of Mr. Evans being named the 2011 Republican Lawyer of the Year. The award recognizes lawyers for outstanding professional accomplishments and years of service to the Republican Party.

Randy Evans served as outside counsel for former Speakers of the United States House of Representatives, Newt Gingrich and Dennis Hastert. He served as General Counsel of the Georgia Republican Party from 2001 to 2009. Mr. Evans currently serves as a partner and Chair of the Financial Institutions group at the firm of McKenna, Long & Aldridge LLP. Mr. Evans is also the Co-Chair of the Georgia Judicial Nominating Commission and currently serves as a member of the Republican National Lawyers Association Board of Governors and Vice President for Election Education.

The reception was held at the offices of Hall Booth Smith in downtown Atlanta. Attendees had a wonderful time celebrating the outstanding work Mr. Evans has accomplished on behalf of the Republican Party and his longstanding dedication to the GOP.
