BRUNSWICK, GA – – Hall Booth Smith (HBS) is proud to announce that Beth Boone and Charles A. Dorminy, J.D., LL.M., both practicing in Brunswick office, have been named as partner. The honor is recognition of the outstanding work that both individuals have done as attorneys for HBS.

Ms. Boone earned her B.B.A from the University of Kentucky where she received departmental honors in business administration. She received an M.B.A. from Tennessee State University and obtained her J.D. in 1998 from the Nashville School of Law. Ms. Boone is licensed in both Georgia and Tennessee and practices actively in both states. Ms. Boone practices in the areas of professional negligence and medical malpractice defense as well as probate, estate planning and administration, trusts, fiduciary law, and general civil litigation. She has extensive experience in all phases of client representation, including litigation. She strives to defend each client with the utmost professionalism.

Mr. Dorminy obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business from the University of Georgia. He then earned his J.D. from Mercer University and received an LL.M. in health care law from the University of Houston. Originally from Tifton, GA, Mr. Dorminy recently moved from Tifton office of HBS to the Brunswick office where he practices in a wide variety of areas including medical malpractice defense, health care, local government law and litigation, employment law, and general insurance defense litigation. Mr. Dorminy is the leader of HBS’ Health Care practice group and regularly assists hospitals, physician groups, and long term care facilities with a host of legal issues surrounding health care providers.

Hall Booth Smith currently has eight regional offices in Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina. The firm has recently opened its first international office in Tbilisi, Georgia.
