HBS Welcomes Attorney Erin Coia to the Atlanta Office

HBS is pleased to welcome Erin Coia as an Associate in the Atlanta office. Before joining HBS, Erin gained experience with a large defense firm, representing drivers, trucking companies, and other commercial fleets involved in motor vehicle collisions, as well as retail stores, restaurants, and other property owners in premises liability matters.
Ms. Coia graduated from Furman University, magna cum laude, in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She obtained her law degree from the University of South Carolina in 2008, graduating cum laude. While attending Furman University, Ms. Coia was one of the founding members and publicity chair of the campus’s Relay for Life, a community fundraising event to raise awareness about all forms of cancer. She was also a member of the Richard Riley Institute Advance Team, which was instrumental in bringing well-known speakers to campus, including Madeline Albright and Marian Wright Edelman. Ms. Coia served as a member of the editorial board and later as the Associate Editor in Chief of the South Carolina Law Review. After graduating from law school and before entering private practice, Ms. Coia was a law clerk to the Honorable W. Leon Barfield, Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Georgia.
We warmly welcome Ms. Coia to our family and are excited to have her representing our clients.
