HBS Welcomes Attorney Erin Young to the Charlotte Office

HBS is pleased to welcome Erin Young as Of Counsel in the Charlotte, NC office. Ms. Young has over 17 years’ experience representing healthcare providers, corporations, non-profit organizations, and insurance companies in litigation involving claims of professional negligence and general liability.
“I am thrilled to have Erin join our firm.  She is an experienced, terrific attorney.  She will be a big part of the growth of our professional negligence defense practice in Charlotte,” says Richard Sheinis, Managing Partner of HBS Charlotte office.
Prior to joining HBS, Ms. Young was Partner for over 9 years at a defense litigation firm, where she developed and managed all aspects of litigation including investigation, discovery, pre-trial motions and jury trials. She has also advised clients on issues of long-term risk management and loss prevention.
Ms. Young received her B.A., in English and Political Science, from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She attended the University of North Carolina School of Law for her J.D. Ms. Young was a 2015 Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Woman of the Year Candidate and recognized as a North Carolina Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in 2012 and 2013. She has been peer rated “AV” with Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating a lawyer can receive.
