HBS Welcomes Nathan Mauer as an Associate to the Nashville Office

HBS is pleased to welcome Nathan Mauer as an associate in Hall Booth Smith’s Nashville office, where he will practice in general liability, employment and workers compensation areas.

Prior to joining Hall Booth Smith, Mr. Mauer spent two years with the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office defending the State in civil suits across Tennessee, in both state and federal court. He also served for two years as an Assistant General Counsel for the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, advising the administration on issues concerning employment law and privacy law compliance, as well as litigating wrongful termination lawsuits, civil commitments, and conservatorship appointments before state courts.

Mr. Mauer received his undergraduate degree from Samford University in Birmingham, AL, with a B.A. in History. He attended law school at the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville, TN.
