John E. Hall, Jr., along with his partner, Jack G. Gresh, and local counsel Clark Carpenter, received a defense verdict in a case pending in Northern Alabama. Mr. Hall represented a hospital system and its nurses who were accused of failure to monitor, communicate and intervene in the labor and delivery of a mother, resulting in her child having cerebral palsy.
Pre-trial demand was $6,000,000 and plaintiff’s asked for $10,000,000 at time of closing. The jury returned a verdict for the defendants after deliberations.
This is Mr. Hall’s 4th defense verdict year to date. So far his verdicts have been in Washington, DC, Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama. He begins another trial in September in Fairfax, Virginia.
