Hall Booth Smith is proud to expand its Little Rock office with Associates Allison T. Scott and Joseph M. Kraska.

Allison T. Scott

Allison focuses her practice on business litigation, general liability, medical malpractice, and premises liability matters.

Prior to joining HBS, she was an Associate with a local firm where she practiced in the defense of personal injury and medical malpractice cases. While she was in law school, she externed with the Honorable Billy Roy Wilson at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas. She also served as a public affairs assistant for the U.S. Department of State at the U.S. Embassy in Bern, Switzerland.

Allison earned her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she received top papers in real property; civil procedure; reading, writing, and analysis; lawyering skills; administrative law; and specialized legal research. She was also an articles editor of the UA Little Rock Law Review. Allison also obtained a Master of Public Service degree from the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service. During her time there she developed educational materials to promote deliberative democracy for various museums across Arkansas. Additionally, she earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in History from Hendrix College.

Joseph M. Kraska

Joseph M. Kraska is an Associate in the Little Rock office who specializes in labor and employment law. Prior to joining HBS, Joseph was an associate for a local firm, where he primarily practiced in labor and employment law with a focus on traditional labor law. He represented clients in collective bargaining, RC petitions, unfair labor practice charges, labor arbitrations, OSHA compliance matters, and federal and state employment discrimination matters, and he provided general employment advice. He also externed with the Honorable Judge Brandon Harrison with the Arkansas Court of Appeals.

Joseph is currently a Chief Master Sergeant in the Arkansas Air National Guard where he serves as his unit’s Human Resource Advisor. As the Human Resource Advisor, his primary duties are focused on diversity and inclusion initiatives, force development, and force management of over one thousand assigned personnel. Prior to joining the Air National Guard, he served on Active Duty in the Air Force for ten years.

Joseph earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. There, he served as President of the Student Veterans Organization and Executive Editor of the UA Little Rock Law Review. He also earned his Bachelor of Arts with honors from the American Military University.
