HBS Adds Denise M. Stocker as Partner in Miami

MIAMI, FL – September 21, 2022 – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is pleased to welcome Denise M. Stocker as Partner to its office in Miami as the firm grows to meet the needs of clients across the state of Florida.

Denise has over a decade of litigation experience in premises liability, transportation, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, and labor and employment matters. She represents numerous Fortune 500 corporations and insurance carriers in the defense of catastrophic commercial trucking claims, excess policy limits claims, wrongful death actions, and automobile negligence matters involving traumatic brain and surgical injuries. She also represents major retailers in a wide variety of premises liability claims and has successfully defended homeowners insurance liability claims, fraudulent injury claims, underinsured and uninsured motorists actions, independent contractor liability, and indemnity claims.

She handles all phases of litigation, including pre-suit, mediation, arbitration, pretrial, and appellate matters at both the state and federal level. Denise has tried cases to verdict and has also obtained two dismissals for fraud and a final summary judgment in a commercial premises liability case.

Denise earned a J.D. from Florida State University College of Law and holds a B.A. in Communications and Public Relations from The University of Alabama.
