PARAMUS, NJ – September 12, 2022 – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is pleased to welcome Partner Marc R. Wilner and Associate Preeti V. Dawane to its office in Paramus, New Jersey, as the firm continues to strengthen its presence in the northeast.

Partner Marc R. Wilner brings extensive experience in all aspects of civil defense litigation, including construction, premises, and other general liability matters. He has successfully defended high exposure New York labor law, construction accidents and defects, toxic tort, medical and professional liability, property damage, and lead paint claims before federal and state courts through all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement, trial, and appeal.

Marc earned his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law and received a B.S., magna cum laude, in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Albany.

Associate Preeti V. Dawane focuses her practice on appellate, construction, general liability, medical malpractice, and premises liability matters. Prior to joining HBS, Preeti was an Associate at a local insurance defense firm where she concentrated her practice on the defense of motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, and other general liability matters. Earlier in her career, she practiced commercial litigation and family law at a boutique law firm.

Preeti earned a J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. She also holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
