Terry Sullivan Joins Hall Booth Smith, Reuniting Colleagues With 38 Years of History

ATLANTA – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. is pleased to welcome longtime medical malpractice attorney Terrance C. “Terry” Sullivan back to the firm, uniting colleagues with nearly four decades of professional history and friendship.

Sullivan joins the Atlanta office as Of Counsel, marking a reunion for many of Hall Booth Smith’s longest-serving attorneys who worked with Sullivan in the firm’s earliest days from 1980 to 1999 when it was called Sullivan, Hall, Booth and Smith.

He was drawn back to HBS by the opportunity to serve clients alongside the dedicated and hard-working attorneys at one of the fastest-growing litigation firms in the Southeast.

“This homecoming to the HBS family is every bit as warm and welcoming as I hoped,” Sullivan said. “I am honored to work with such incredibly talented and passionate attorneys, and I look forward to serving clients alongside them as we grow our litigation practice.”

Sullivan has tried more than 175 jury trials to verdict, and has defended some of the most serious and catastrophic cases. Cases he tried in 2006 and 2007 were named among the top defense verdicts for those years by the Missouri Lawyers Weekly. He also has significant mediation practice experience.

“We are thrilled to have Terry back at HBS, and his 40 years of litigation expertise will add depth and breadth to our litigation practice,” said John E. Hall Jr.

Sullivan is a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers, whose roster is limited to fewer than one percent of attorneys in any state. He is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He has been recognized as “The Best Lawyers in America” since 2007.

Sullivan holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was chairman of the Moot Court Board. He earned a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Political Science and History from the University of Georgia, where he was named to the Dean’s List and was in the Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
