Charlie Chin
Biography
Charlie Chin is an Associate in our Tampa office whose practice focuses on general liability, premises liability, and products liability matters.
Prior to joining HBS, Charlie worked as an associate with a national insurance defense firm where he focused in the defense of general liability, auto negligence, construction defect, premises liability, and breach of contract law. He also handled all the firm’s personal injury protection, auto glass, and subrogation cases. He began his career as an assistant state attorney with the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court of the State of Florida and gained extensive trial experience prosecuting cases in Pinellas County.
Charlie earned his Juris Doctor from the Florida Coastal School of Law where he was the executive editor for research and writing for the Florida Coastal Law Review. He was also a member of the Moot Court Honor board, in which he was a two-time semi-finalist in the NAPABA Law Foundation’s National Thomas Tang Moot Court Competition in 2015 and 2016. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Logistics from Penn State University.
