Elizabeth F. Fulton is an Associate in our Charleston office, whose practice isfocused on general liability, transportation and medical malpractice. Earlier in her career, she was an associate attorney for a boutique law firm in Charleston, and while in law school she served the Charleston City Council as a legislative intern.

Ms. Fulton serves on the South Carolina Lawyers Fund for Client Protection, is a Ninth Circuit representative for the South Carolina Bar’s House of Delegates, and is an ambassador to the South Carolina Bar Foundation. She is also a member of DRI’s Trucking Law Committee and serves as vice chair of their Online Programming Group.

Ms. Fulton holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication from East Carolina University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She received her Juris Doctorate from the Charleston School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2012. While there, she served as treasurer and president of the Student Bar Association, was a member of the Pinckney Inn of Court and served as a hearing officer for the Housing Authority of the City of Charleston.

Ms. Fulton lives in James Island with her husband and their dachshund, Neville Longbottom. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time on the water.

EXPERIENCE

Elizabeth’s practice is heavily focused on civil litigation and trial work. She regularly tries cases throughout South Carolina and has also appeared before the South Carolina Court of Appeals, the South Carolina Human Affairs Commission and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
