Elizabeth Noel McCumber
Biography
Elizabeth “Lizzie” McCumber is an associate in the Tifton office of Hall Booth Smith, where she practices in aging services, medical malpractice and transportation matters.
Prior to joining HBS, Lizzie served as a law clerk in the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, where she aided the violent crimes unit in preparing for murder trials by reviewing evidence, preparing witnesses, building case themes and theories, and drafting motions. She also represented the county in several preliminary hearings for misdemeanor and minor felony drug charges. In addition, Lizzie worked as a legal assistant at a private law firm in Georgia, where she supported attorneys in drafting legal filings and communicating with clients. She also gained experience in public service through a congressional internship with U.S. Representative Austin Scott, assisting with constituent services and policy research.
Lizzie earned her J.D. from Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, where she was recognized for academic excellence with multiple best paper awards and named to the Dean’s List. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
