Biography

Jenny Swajkoski is an Associate in our Missoula, Montana, office where she focuses her practice on medical malpractice, health care, professional malpractice and ethics, labor and employment, and general liability matters. She represents clients in many different arenas, from civil trials to appearances and investigations before state licensing boards and administrative agencies.

Some of Jenny’s greatest strengths as a lawyer include her abilities to collaborate with others, develop thorough tactical strategies, and carefully curate persuasive narratives, which help provide opportunities for her clients to obtain favorable outcomes during all stages of litigation.

She has served as second chair in three civil trials and supporting counsel in two others. In addition, she has served as lead counsel in over 50 mediations and small lawsuit resolution hearings and has both prepared and argued over a dozen dispositive motions and dozens of non-dispositive motions.

Prior to joining Hall Booth Smith, Jenny worked for top-ranked defense litigation firms in both Idaho and Montana, where she handled a large volume of third party, medical malpractice, and legal malpractice cases.

Originally from Boise, and now based in Missoula, Jenny is committed to giving back to the community. Previously, she served as an assistant coach for the Boise High School girls varsity soccer team and was on the Board of Directors for the Boise Urban Garden School.

Jenny earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho, where she was a member of the National Moot Court Team. During law school, she completed a semester in practice at St. Luke’s Health System and served as a judicial extern for the Chief Magistrate Judge Ronald E. Bush of the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana.
