Jeremy J. Balu is an Associate in our Denver office, and he focuses his practice on construction, premises liability, general liability and trucking accident litigation.

He represents construction companies, property owners, property managers and homeowners associations of all sizes on a wide range of legal matters such as personal injury claims, premises liability and construction defect litigation defense. He also counsels clients on day-to-day business matters such as lien claims and other disputes.

Jeremy has defended commercial truck drivers and motor carriers in motor vehicle and other transportation accidents, including personal injury and negligence claims.

Earlier in his career, Jeremy provided legal counsel to clients through the Getches-Green Natural Resources & Environmental Law Clinic and he was an environmental regulations researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. He also worked for a national homebuilder, and brings that first-hand knowledge and experience to bear when representing clients in construction and liability cases.

Jeremy earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Colorado Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Jeremy has nearly a decade of experience defending the rights of clients in construction litigation, premises liability and general liability claims. He also has an active transportation practice, and represents individuals and companies in motor vehicle accident cases.
