Lauren Fisher
Biography
Lauren Fisher, an associate in the Jacksonville office, concentrates her practice on medical malpractice and premises liability matters. She works with clients to develop effective defense strategies and is dedicated to providing thoughtful guidance throughout all stages of litigation.
Lauren gained valuable experience as a summer associate at HBS, where she drafted deposition summaries, motions, and memoranda to support complex cases. She also previously served as an in-house counsel intern at Florida Blue, where she assisted with transactional, litigation, and employment law matters, including researching AI contract issues and employment policy updates. In addition, she worked as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Brian J. Davis of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, where she prepared memoranda on constitutional and statutory issues and participated in naturalization ceremonies.
Lauren earned her J.D. from Jacksonville University College of Law, where she served as the executive online editor of the Jacksonville University Law Review, and was actively involved in leadership roles, including president-elect of the Black Law Students Association. She was also a member of the Chester Bedell American Inn of Court and the D.W. Perkins Bar Association.
She received her B.A. in Political Science, summa cum laude, from Florida A&M University and began her academic career at Florida State College at Jacksonville, earning her A.A. in Political Science, magna cum laude.
