Hall Booth Smith Welcomes Three New Associates to Jacksonville

Hall Booth Smith, P.C. is pleased to announce that Lauren Fisher, D’errica Jackson, and Alex Richardson have joined the firm’s Jacksonville office as associates. Together, they strengthen the firm’s growing Florida team practicing across several areas including medical malpractice, premises liability, general liability, and construction matters.

About Lauren Fisher

Lauren concentrates her practice on medical malpractice and premises liability matters. She assists clients through every stage of litigation, developing strategic defense approaches tailored to their needs.

Before joining Hall Booth Smith, Lauren served as a summer associate with the firm and gained in-house experience as a legal intern with Florida Blue, where she supported transactional, litigation, and employment law initiatives. She also worked as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Brian J. Davis of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Lauren earned her J.D. from Jacksonville University College of Law, where she was executive online editor of the Jacksonville University Law Review and active in leadership positions, including president-elect of the Black Law Students Association. She received her B.A. in Political Science, summa cum laude, from Florida A&M University.

About D’errica Jackson

D’errica defends clients in construction, general liability, health care, medical malpractice, and premises liability matters.

She previously served as a summer associate at Hall Booth Smith, gaining hands-on litigation experience in medical malpractice and premises liability cases. D’errica also interned with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida, the Honorable Frederic M. Schott of the 18th Judicial Circuit, and the legal department of Darden Restaurants, Inc.

D’errica earned her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she was president of the John Marshall Bar Association and assistant research editor for the Florida Journal of International Law. She graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida.

About Alex Richardson

Alex Richardson focuses her practice on general and premises liability matters. She previously served as a summer associate with Hall Booth Smith and clerked with two Florida law firms, where she gained experience in labor and employment and criminal defense cases.

Alex earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she served as Executive Managing Editor for the Florida Entertainment and Sports Law Review and as a teaching assistant for Legal Writing I. She also holds both a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Economics from the University of Florida and brings more than six years of experience in the tax and accounting industry.
