Matthew A. “Matt” Morrow
Biography
Matt Morrow is an associate in Hall Booth Smith’s Tampa office, where he focuses his practice on aging services, general liability, and insurance coverage matters. He brings nearly a decade of experience representing insurers, businesses, and professionals in complex litigation, including first-party property claims, construction defect disputes, and coverage analyses.
Before joining HBS, Matt served as staff counsel for two major insurance carriers and as an attorney in several Florida-based defense firms, where he managed hundreds of cases from inception through trial. He has extensive experience conducting and defending depositions, arguing dispositive motions, negotiating at mediations, and advising clients on litigation strategy. He also has a strong track record of securing favorable resolutions through meticulous claim evaluations and cost-conscious case management. Earlier in his career, Matt also clerked at the Florida Second District Court of Appeal for Judge Robert Morris.
Matt earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management, cum laude, from the University of Florida.
