Toni A. Santos
Biography
Toni A. Santos is an associate in our Jacksonville, Florida, office and focuses her practice on medical malpractice, labor & employment, general liability, and premises liability matters. She represents national retailers in high-exposure premises liability and negligent security matters, as well as physicians, health care facilities, and other health care providers in complex medical negligence claims. Her practice also includes defending clients in cases involving catastrophic injuries and wrongful death.
Before joining HBS, Toni worked as a Student Clinician at the University of Florida Law Veterans and Servicemembers Legal Clinic and as a Judicial Extern at the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings. She also worked as a Law Clerk for a Jacksonville firm, a Judicial Intern for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and a Public Defense Intern for the 19th Circuit in St. Lucie County, Florida.
Toni received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, for the University of Florida’s Fredric G. Levin College of Law, during which she served as Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Technology Law and Policy and as a Research Assistant. She earned two Bachelors of Science, cum laude, in both Criminology and Law and in Sociology from the University of Florida.
