Biography

Tristan Alex Villegas is an associate in our Jacksonville office who focuses on construction, medical malpractice, and premises liability matters.

Prior to joining HBS, Tristan worked as as assistant state attorney with the Fourth Circuit State Attorney Office and was active in trying two jury trials and assigned to two divisions, managing a case load of roughly 200 cases. He also participated in two criminal jury trials with the Eighth Circuit State Attorney Office as a certified legal intern. During law school, Tristan served with the Veterans and Servicemembers Clinic. While there, the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims overturned a lower tribunal’s decision after siding with his client.

Tristan earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, and Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Economics from the University of Florida.
