Zack Bennington
Biography
Zack Bennington is the Director of Legal Operations and Professional Development at Hall Booth Smith. In this role, Zack leads the firm’s legal operations strategy and professional development initiatives and oversees the firm’s legal resources and vendor partnerships, legal team performance and productivity, learning and professional development programs, and knowledge management systems.
Zack brings more than 16 years of experience leading legal operations, litigation support, military justice, eDiscovery, and legal teams in both military and law firm environments. Prior to his transition to law firms, Zack served in the United States Marine Corps, where he held multiple leadership roles, including overseeing a full-service law center and supervising legal teams supporting high-volume and high-profile matters around the globe. After 13 years in the Marine Corps, Zack continued his military service in the Army National Guard, where he currently serves in a leadership role in the state’s military justice program.
Outside of work, Zack is married with five children. You can usually find him on a soccer pitch, a football field, or out on the lake.
