Hall Booth Smith Adds Jones and Kelly to its Charlotte Office

CHARLOTTE, NC – November 16, 2020 – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) has added Of Counsel Glenn E. Jones and Attorney Briana N. Kelly to its growing office in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Glenn concentrates his practice on general liability, premises liability, medical malpractice and transportation matters. Rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, he has extensive experience in defending individuals, hospitals and corporate health care providers. In addition, he has represented businesses and property owners in liability claims throughout the South involving onsite injuries to employees, patrons, and in other matters. He uses his knowledge of insurance coverage law and his trial advocacy skills to serve his clients.

Glenn returns to HBS after taking time to further his knowledge of business litigation and charity work. He previously served as the Director of Operations for Big League Impact, a 501(c)(3) charity started by St. Louis Cardinals Pitcher Adam Wainwright and his brother Trey. Glenn earned a Juris Doctorate from The University of Alabama School of Law and also holds a Bachelor of Science from The University of Georgia.

Briana focuses her practice on healthcare and other general and professional liability matters. Prior to joining HBS, she interned at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Office of Operations and was a congressional intern for Congressman G.K. Butterfield.

Briana earned her Juris Doctorate and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In law school, she was a competing member of the Holderness Moot Court Negotiations Team, served as secretary for the Black Law Students Association and served as a certified law student practitioner with UNC’s Domestic and Sexual Violence Clinic. She was a recipient of the Eugene Gressman and Daniel H. Politt Oral Advocacy award and has consistently been recognized for her volunteer and pro bono work. She also received the UNC Business Essentials Certificate from UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
