West Palm Beach Office Of Hall Booth Smith Welcomes Attorney Max Baroody

Hall Booth Smith welcomes Max Baroody to the firm’s West Palm Beach office as an associate. Max will focus his practice on aging services, general liability, health care, medical malpractice, and premises liability matters.

“Max brings a thoughtful approach and strong advocacy skills to his work,” said Jodi Barrett, managing partner of the West Palm Beach office. “We’re excited to have him serving our clients in this region.”

Previously, Max served as a summer associate with HBS, where he supported litigation teams on a variety of complex matters and developed a solid foundation in health care and liability defense. He also gained valuable judicial experience as an intern for the Honorable John Bowman in the Civil Division of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit of Florida, assisting with legal research and analysis.

Max earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, where he served as vice chair of the Board of Advocates for Moot Court and was a regional champion in The National Moot Court Competition. He was also a senior associate for the Journal of International Law and Comparative Studies and worked as a research and teaching assistant.

Before law school, Max worked in education as a middle school math and science teacher and assistant athletic director. He holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Environment and Society and Philosophy from Florida State University, as well as an Associate of Science in Legal Studies with Honors from Tallahassee Community College.
