Hall Booth Smith Opens New office in Birmingham, Alabama

Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is pleased to announce that it is expanding its footprint by opening an office in Birmingham, Alabama. The HBS Birmingham office will be led by a new HBS partner and a longtime Birmingham attorney David W. Proctor.  The Birmingham location will be the firm’s twelfth office.
Founded in 1989, Hall Booth Smith (HBS)  is a full service law firm with over 150 attorneys and offices in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and now in Alabama.
“We are proud to have David Proctor join us as he brings a wealth of experience and expertise”, says Alex Booth, managing partner of HBS. “The firm’s growing needs for a presence in Alabama is now being served and David is the right person to head our office in Birmingham”.
“Our goals align and having Hall Booth Smith offices in Birmingham will allow us to service existing clients in Alabama and be prepared for the future” said Proctor. “We will now have ten attorneys licensed in Alabama and expect this to be a growing area for us”. The Birmingham offices will be located in the Birmingham Central Business District’s Financial Center tower at the corner of 20th street and 5th Avenue North.
Proctor is an Alabama native, received his undergraduate degree from Washington & Lee University followed by Juris Doctorate from The University of Alabama School of Law in 1984. He has extensive experience in torts, insurance and product liability defense work, most notably he focuses on defending physicians and other healthcare providers in claims of medical malpractice.  Proctor is recognized by both Alabama Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America for Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury.
