Hall Booth Smith, P.C. Adds William Bryan Jakes as an Associate in Nashville

Hall Booth Smith, P.C. has added William “Bryan” Jakes, IV as an associate in its Nashville office, where he practices primarily on medical malpractice defense matters.

Bryan represents healthcare providers and institutions in litigation matters, bringing more than a decade of experience handling cases in Tennessee. His background includes work in medical malpractice defense, general liability, business litigation, construction matters, premises liability, commercial disputes, wrongful death actions, and probate and trust litigation.

Before joining HBS, Bryan gained litigation experience across a range of civil matters, including complex tort cases and disputes involving business and construction issues. He also has appellate experience, including briefing and arguing matters before the Tennessee Court of Appeals.

“Bryan brings practical litigation experience and a strong understanding of Tennessee courts to our Nashville team,” said Karl Braun, Managing Partner of the Nashville office. “His background will be valuable to our clients, particularly in healthcare and civil defense matters.”

Bryan earned his Juris Doctor from Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Tennessee. He is admitted to practice in Tennessee and before the U.S. District Courts for the Middle, Western, and Eastern Districts of Tennessee. He is also a member of the Tennessee Bar Association.
