HBS Welcomes Carson King as an Associate to the Nashville Office

HBS is pleased to welcome Carson King as an associate in Hall Booth Smith’s Nashville office, where he will practice in business litigation, intellectual property/entertainment, professional negligence and transactional matters. Mr. King has particular knowledge and experience of copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property and entertainment matters.

Mr. King graduated first in his class at the University of Illinois College of Business, where he majored in Accountancy. He graduated fourth in his class at the University of Illinois College of Law, achieving summa cum laude, Order of the Coif, and Harno Scholar distinctions. He also received Rickert Awards for Excellence in Academics and Excellence in Legal Writing and served on the Illinois Law Review as Topics Editor. His paper, “When Virtual Reality Becomes Real: Taxation of CryptoCurrencies” was the grand prize winner of the Paul Faherty Tax Law Writing Competition, a national competition, and was published online. Mr. King also received CALI awards for achieving the highest grade in six different courses in law school, including International Intellectual Property, Trial Advocacy, Business Associations, Legal Research, Introduction to Advocacy, and Federal Tax Policy. Mr. King is passionate about all facets of law and works zealously and diligently to serve the best interests of his clients.
