HBS Welcomes Four New Associates to the Firm

Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is pleased to welcome four new associates to our firm: Abigail Castleberry, Jacob O’ Neal, Ashley Bartolucci and Nate Gorman.
Abigail Castleberry joins as an Associate in the Atlanta office of Hall Booth Smith. She received her B.A. in political science, summa cum laude, from the University of Tennessee at Martin and her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Castleberry was admitted into the Order of the Samaritans and received the Dean’s Community Service Award for her dedication to community service and pro bono legal services. Before joining HBS, Ms. Castleberry was a Staff Attorney with the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, where she gained significant federal appellate experience. Ms. Castleberry will be practicing with the Transportation group at HBS.
Jacob O’Neal joins the Atlanta office as an Associate, practicing with the HBS Government Liability and Employment groups. He brings to HBS over four years of practice experience concentrated primarily on local government representation and defense work. He has extensive experience in defense of Title VII/ 42 USC §1983 actions,  experience advising local government compliance with National Voting Rights Act (NVRA) and voter registration policies, ordinance drafting, legislation, and appellate practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He received his B.A., summa cum laude, from Mercer University and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
Ashley Bartolucci joins HBS as an Associate in the Charlotte office. Ms. Bartolucci received her B.S. in Finance from the University of Florida. She then earned her J.D. and MBA from Stetson University. Before joining HBS, she served as a Florida Assistant State Attorney in the Felony and Misdemeanor Divisions for over 5 years. During her time with the State Attorney’s Office, Ms. Bartolucci had extensive motion practice and handled over 30 jury trials. In addition, she was selected to an elite group of Assistant State Attorneys to serve on the DUI Manslaughter and Vehicular Homicide Squad. Ms. Bartolucci joins HBS as a member of the Data Privacy and Security, Dental, Employment, General Liability, Health Care and Professional Negligence / Medical Malpractice practice groups.
Nate Gorman joins as an Associate in the Nashville office. A native of Franklin, Tennessee, Mr. Gorman received his Bachelors of Science, magna cum laude, in Public Administration and Political Science with a minor in Economics from the University of Tennessee. He also received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Tennessee with a concentration in advocacy. While in law school, he represented indigent clients in the Advocacy Clinic, one of the longest running legal clinics in the country. He also served as a member and editor of the Transactions: Tennessee Journal of Business Law, was a member of Jerome Prince Memorial Evidence Moot Court Team and received CALI Awards for Contract Drafting and the Advocacy Clinic. With several members of his family being medical doctors, Mr. Gorman has a personal interest and desire to defend healthcare practitioners of all types in his legal practice. He will be a member of the Aging Services, Correctional Health Care, Dental, General Liability, Health Care
and Professional Negligence / Medical Malpractice practice groups.
