NASHVILLE, TN – February 18, 2022 – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is pleased to welcome Scott Corley as an Associate to its growing office in Nashville, Tennessee.
Scott defends our insured clients in a wide array of areas including healthcare, professional liability (specifically healthcare professionals), products liability, general liability, transportation, as well as business, administrative and regulatory matters.
Earlier in his career, Scott served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Medicaid Fraud & Integrity Division of the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office. He also previously served on active duty in the Army Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps, including two years as trial counsel at the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) at Fort Campbell in Kentucky. He continues to serve in the US Army Reserve as a Major in the JAG Corps.
Scott earned a J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law. He also holds a B.S., cum laude, with a double major in human & organizational development and economics from Vanderbilt University.
“We are delighted to welcome Scott to our Nashville office. His prior experience in the Medicaid Fraud & Integrity Division of the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office and the JAG Corps gives him a valuable and unique perspective, and will augment the depth of our litigation team to protect the interests of all our clients and especially our healthcare clients.” said Karl Braun, a Partner who oversees the HBS Nashville office.
