JT Mlinarcik
Biography
JT Mlinarcik is Of Counsel in our Raleigh office, where he focuses his practice on high-exposure transportation, construction defect, premises liability, professional and medical malpractice, as well as general liability matters. He represents businesses and individuals in various industries including those who have disciplinary or licensing issues and those under investigation by governmental agencies. He has experience in working with clients of all sizes, from start-ups to multi-billion-dollar enterprises.
Prior to joining HBS, JT worked as general counsel, business consultant, and trainer for a global non-profit and a national consulting firm. There, he managed legal operations for multiple business units in complex employee engagements, human resources, contract negotiation, entity formation, and risk management. Prior to earning a law degree, JT held the Series 7 and 63 certifications from the National Association of Securities Dealers and the New York Stock Exchange and built and managed a multi-million-dollar financial planning firm.
JT earned his Juris Doctor from Regent University, where he was Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of International Law. He also obtained his Master in Business Administration from Queens University, where he was instrumental in developing a very successful team building and high adventure program in which he facilitated more than 3,000 participants. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Furman University.
