Four Hall Booth Smith Attorneys Honored in the 2021 New Jersey Super Lawyers Magazine

In the 2021 edition of the New Jersey Super Lawyers magazine, the law firm of Hall Booth Smith (HBS) has once again been recognized for its outstanding legal work. Partners Jeffrey M. Daitz, Harry D. Norton, Jr. and Brian M. Murphy have all been named as Super Lawyers, and Attorney Brooke E. Reddin has been selected as a Rising Star.

Jeffrey M. Daitz was recognized for his work in the defense of employment litigation. At HBS, Jeffrey serves as the Co-Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Group, as well as Co-Director of the Employment Practices Liability Insurance Defense Department. He has more than two decades of experience in employment law, labor management relations, and alternative dispute resolution. Jeffrey’s nationwide practice is focused on defending employers in Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI) matters and Directors & Officers (D&O) claims, and he also monitors claims on behalf of carriers. He is often brought in to coordinate local and co-counsel in multiparty and multi-jurisdiction litigation.

Harry D. Norton, Jr. was honored for his work in personal injury: defense and has been listed on Super Lawyers since 2012. As a Partner in our New Jersey office, he has defended insurers and insureds for more than 40 years. Harry is also sought after by both courts and law firms for his skills as an arbitrator and mediator. He specializes in insurance matters including personal injury reimbursement claims, premises liability, construction, governmental liability and other disputes. He also represents clients in arbitration and mediation and on appeal.

Brian M. Murphy was listed on the Super Lawyers list for his work in civil litigation: defense. He is a Partner in our office in New Jersey, and he has defended clients in insurance litigation and other liability claims for four decades. He has tried countless cases to verdict in New Jersey and New York as well as in federal courts, and he serves a strategic business partner who helps each client achieve their business goals while protecting their interests. Brian specializes in defending first and third party claims in premises liability matters, construction accidents, construction defects, hospitality and property damage disputes, automobile and truck accident litigation. He also handles commercial disputes, contracts, insurance coverage and subrogation matters.

Brooke E. Reddin was selected as a Rising Star for her work in medical malpractice defense. She is an Associate in our office in Saddle Brook, New Jersey, where she focuses her practice on health care, medical malpractice and aging services litigation. She defends physicians, nurses, insurers and other health care professionals in a wide range of complex matters. In addition, she is certified as a mediator and has successfully settled numerous matters. Brooke earned her J.D. from Widener University School of Law and she holds a B.A. from Pennsylvania State University.
