Hall Booth Smith Adds Associates Kara Bidstrup And Christopher Eads In Nashville

NASHVILLE, TENN. – April 2, 2020 – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. welcomes Kara Bidstrup and Christopher Eads as Associates to its growing office in Nashville, Tennessee.

Kara Bidstrup concentrates her practice on a variety of business transaction, general liability, intellectual property and entertainment, medical malpractice, professional malpractice and ethics matters.

Before joining HBS, Bidstrup was an attorney at a boutique civil litigation firm in Memphis, where she handled professional negligence, medical malpractice and general liability cases. In addition, she previously served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Bernice B. Donald of the Sixth Circuit of the U.S. Court of Appeals, and was a Judicial Law Clerk in the Shelby County Circuit Court for the Honorable Rhynette Northcross Hurd.

Bidstrup earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where she was the Articles Editor of the University of Memphis Law Review, a Student Justice on the University of Memphis Honor Council, and the Executive Volunteer Coordinator for the Public Action Law Society. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Alabama.

Christopher Eads focuses his practice on medical malpractice, transportation, premises liability, general liability, business litigation, labor and employment disputes, and business transaction matters.

Prior to joining Hall Booth Smith, Eads was an Associate at a firm in Nashville, where he litigated insurance, construction, premises liability, wrongful death, trucking and subrogation matters. In this role, he successfully handled numerous bench trials to verdict, and served on the firm’s Leadership Committee. In addition, Eads worked as a litigation associate at a regional law firm where he successfully handled administrative trials in the Department of Labor. During law school, he clerked for a firm in Virginia.

Eads earned a Juris Doctorate degree, cum laude, from Appalachian School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor for the Appalachian Journal of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Cumberland University.
