Hall Booth Smith Welcomes Martha S. Bradley to Asheville Office

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Dec. 17, 2019 – Hall Booth Smith, P.C. welcomes Martha S. Bradley as an Associate in its growing office in Asheville, North Carolina.

Bradley counsels clients on a wide variety of business litigation, real estate disputes and construction matters. She also defends clients in medical malpractice and dental claims, professional malpractice and ethics cases, land use and environmental issues, insurance coverage, and liability. Her practice includes arbitration and mediation, and she represents clients all the way through appeal.

Before joining Hall Booth Smith, Bradley was the local managing attorney for a firm in Asheville, where she served as counsel-of-record for business and real estate clients. She also supervised attorneys and staff, recruited and trained new talent, and helped establish and enforce the firm’s financial policies. Prior to that role, Bradley was an attorney at a firm in Selma, North Carolina, and she served as a law clerk to Judge Ann Marie Calabria of the North Carolina Court of Appeals earlier in her career.

Bradley earned a J.D. from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She serves on the Board of Governors for the North Carolina Bar Association, the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyers Division, and the Convention Planning Advisory Committee.

She is deeply involved in the local community, and serves on the Town of Waynesville Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee. In 2019, she completed a term as President of the Rotary Club of Waynesville-Sunrise.

“Martha brings great depth and breadth of experience as a litigator across many industries, and she is a valuable addition to our Asheville office,” said Isaac N. Northup, Jr., a Partner who oversees HBS’s Asheville office. “We are excited to add her to our team, and to welcome her to the HBS family.”
