About Chase Duff

Chase Duff focuses his practice on medical malpractice, general liability, and premises liability matters. Before joining Hall Booth Smith, Chase has represented clients in tort claims involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, trucking accidents, and wrongful death cases. Prior to law school Chase worked as a paralegal and staff legal investigator overseeing case development and ensuring client satisfaction through the entire legal process. Chase earned his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law in 2021. He previously received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia.

About Carlton Powers

Carlton Powers concentrates his practice on general liability, business litigation, medical malpractice and other litigation matters.

Before joining Hall Booth Smith, Carlton served as an Assistant Solicitor General in the Richmond County Solicitor General’s Office, where he gained extensive courtroom experience. He conducted thirteen jury trials, serving as first chair in five of them, and also led approximately thirty bench trials. He also successfully prosecuted a range of criminal matters. Prior to law school, Carlton worked in the insurance industry as a multiline claims adjuster with Progressive Insurance, where he managed complex claims and contributed to high-stakes arbitration outcomes. Carlton earned his J.D. from Emory University School of Law and holds a B.A. from Magdalen College.

About Charles Rollins

Charles Hackney Rollins is an associate in the Augusta, Georgia, office of Hall Booth Smith. He focuses his practice on a broad range of litigation and regulatory matters, with particular emphasis in health care, medical malpractice, long-term care litigation, business litigation, governmental liability, construction, and intellectual property.

Before joining HBS, Charles operated his own solo practice in Augusta, where he built a robust civil and criminal litigation portfolio. His civil work included health care billing and fraud defense, environmental matters, general liability, regulatory defense, ERISA, construction, intellectual property, and contract law, representing clients in both state and federal courts across Georgia, North Carolina, Alabama, and beyond. On the criminal side, he focused on complex litigation and parallel proceedings. Most recently, he served as a Trial Team Lead at the Augusta Solicitor’s Office. Charles earned his B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he served as President of Carolina’s Episcopal Campus Ministry.
