Hall Booth Smith P.C. is excited to announce its further expansion to New Mexico with the addition of three highly experienced Partners based in Albuquerque. Jeffrey Croasdell, Tyler Cuff and B. W. Stone join in the Albuquerque office, bringing extensive knowledge of general liability, medical and dental malpractice, products liability, aviation, business litigation and transportation matters.

The Albuquerque team enables the firm to continue to expand and serve clients across New Mexico and the surrounding region with a wide range of experience and focus upon defending both jury and non-jury cases at every level of state and federal court in New Mexico. The attorneys have vast experience and proficiency with varying litigation matters, including class actions, breach of warranty claims, wrongful death claims, tort and personal injury claims, professional liability, and breach of contract claims. These three seasoned and experienced attorneys will be joining John Hall and Ryan Donihue who have been defending medical malpractice matters throughout New Mexico.

Jeffrey Croasdell’s Litigation Practice

Jeffrey Croasdell has been practicing law for more than three decades. He focuses his practice on high-exposure litigation, including products liability, aging services, general liability, health care, medical malpractice, transportation and aviation matters.

He has served as an adjunct professor at the University of New Mexico School of Law since 2012, where he teaches civil procedure and an advanced course focused on practical skills and courtroom readiness. Along with his litigation practice, he speaks at continuing legal education programs on trial practice, civil procedure and emerging issues in health care and liability law.

Croasdell is a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) and the Product Liability Advisory Council (PLAC). Following law school, he served as a law clerk for Chief Justice Richard E. Ransom of the New Mexico Supreme Court.

Croasdell earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of New Mexico School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California San Diego. He is licensed to practice in all New Mexico state courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

Tyler Cuff’s Litigation Practice

Tyler Cuff focuses his practice on business litigation, products and general liability, and medical malpractice matters.

Cuff represents clients in administrative tribunals and a wide range of civil litigation matters, including products liability, class action cases, breach of warranty and contract claims, wrongful death actions, tort and personal injury disputes, and professional liability claims.

In addition to his litigation practice, he serves as an adjunct professor at the University of New Mexico School of Law, teaching a civil procedure practicum course. He is a member of DRI, the New Mexico Defense Lawyers Association, and J. Reuben Clark Law Society, where he serves on the Albuquerque Chapter’s board of directors.

Cuff earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia and his Bachelor of Arts from Brigham Young University. He is licensed to practice in all New Mexico state courts, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

B.W. Stone’s Litigation Practice

B.W. Stone has over a decade of legal experience and a notable background as a naval aviator that informs his practice. He focuses on general liability, medical malpractice, products liability and transportation matters.

Stone regularly handles matters involving medical malpractice claims, products liability issues, wrongful death claims, oilfield accidents, civil rights claims, and transportation and serious injury cases with a specialized focus on aviation.

Before joining Hall Booth Smith, Stone founded and managed his own litigation firm, handling a wide range of civil and criminal matters and gaining extensive courtroom experience. He also previously served as a fighter pilot in the U.S. Navy and later as a Reserve Naval Aviator and adversary pilot.

Stone earned his Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from the University of New Mexico School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Science in history, with merit, from the United States Naval Academy. He is licensed to practice in all New Mexico state courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico.
