The Atlanta office of Hall Booth Smith is pleased to welcome Of Counsel Sarah V. Martin and Associates Sandra “Libba” Kuhlmann and Brandon Hornsby Wilson.
“We are excited to welcome these three talented attorneys to our Atlanta office. Their diverse experience across a wide range of practice areas strengthens our ability to serve clients with excellence,” said Managing Partner Alex Booth.
About Sarah V. Martin
Sarah focuses her practice on general liability matters. With over a decade of trial and courtroom experience, Sarah brings a strategic and results-driven approach to representing insurers, individuals, and businesses in complex civil matters.
Before joining HBS, Sarah served as a senior trial attorney at Allstate Insurance Company, where she conducted examinations under oath, provided coverage opinions, and successfully resolved claims through litigation and alternative dispute resolution. She also owned and operated her own law firm, where she represented clients in civil and personal injury cases, negotiated favorable settlements, and mentored junior attorneys.
Earlier in her career, Sarah spent nearly a decade as a public defender in Fulton County, handling a wide range of criminal and juvenile matters. As the lead attorney in the Juvenile Delinquency Division, she developed a specialty in juvenile law and was instrumental in establishing best practice standards adopted by the court.
About Libba Kuhlmann
Libba practices in medical malpractice defense. Before joining HBS, Libba worked at a local firm, where she represented insurance companies, employers, and third-party administrators in complex workers’ compensation claims. She conducted depositions, negotiated settlements, and provided clients with comprehensive case evaluations and risk analysis.
During law school, she served as a summer associate at a family law firm and also worked in the Cherokee County District Attorney’s Office. There, she supported attorneys with juvenile court proceedings and assisted with trial preparation. These early experiences laid a strong foundation for her litigation skills and client-focused advocacy.
About Brandon Wilson
Brandon focuses on the defense of workers’ compensation matters. Prior to joining Hall Booth Smith, Brandon served as an assistant public defender with the Georgia Public Defender Council’s Metro Atlanta Conflict Division. For several years there, he managed a full criminal caseload from indictment through trial.
Before that, Brandon was an assistant attorney general in the Consumer Protection Division of the Georgia Attorney General’s Office. While there he investigated businesses for violations of the Fair Business Practices Act (FBPA), helping to enforce consumer protection laws and uphold ethical standards in the marketplace.
While in law school, Brandon obtained internship opportunities as a Steiger Fellow at the Georgia Attorney General’s Office and served as a legal intern at the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office.
