The Atlanta Office of Hall Booth Smith Welcomes Three Attorneys
Hall Booth Smith is excited to announce that Turner LaFiandra-McCall, Bryce McCarter, and Alex Preston have joined the Atlanta office as associates. Their areas of practice include a variety of matters including medical malpractice, general liability, insurance coverage and workers’ compensation.

About Turner LaFiandra-McCall
Turner focuses his practice on general liability, medical malpractice, dental, premises liability and transportation matters. Before joining Hall Booth Smith, Turner defended clients in personal injury, property damage, and liability claims at a regional litigation firm, handling cases from pre-suit investigation to their conclusion. He has experience analyzing insurance policies, coverage issues, and claims handling procedures to identify defenses and advise clients on case strategy and settlement. Earlier in his career, Turner completed an externship with a transportation and logistics company, where he analyzed federal and state regulatory compliance, reviewed contracts, and supported litigation and risk management initiatives.
About Bryce McCarter
Bryce will be practicing in the area of workers’ compensation. Prior to joining Hall Booth Smith, Bryce served as a compliance staff attorney for the Georgia State Ethics Commission. In that role, he oversaw active investigations into political campaigns, elected officials, and lobbyists, and was instrumental in shaping agency policy through the drafting of binding advisory opinions and rules. He also practiced at a local firm, where he supported litigation and discovery processes and led legal research across a wide range of cases. He has experience handling real estate closings and resolving complex title issues in collaboration with title insurance companies and public entities.
About Alex Preston
Alex practices in business litigation, general liability and insurance coverage matters. Before joining HBS, Alex worked as an attorney with a local Marietta firm, earning experience in real estate transaction disputes, business formation, and complex litigation matters. During law school, he completed the Advanced Dispute Resolution externship and received a certification in General Civil Mediation.
