N. Daniel Lovein
Biography
A Nashville, Georgia, native, Daniel Lovein practices in the areas of workers’ compensation defense, premise liability, medical malpractice, real estate, school law, and local government law.
Experience
Daniel has served as local counsel for Professional Association of Georgia Educators. As a result of this representation, Daniel has had an opportunity to defend and/or assist many Georgia educators when adverse action has been taken against them.
Daniel has served as counsel representing several cities and counties throughout South Georgia in the defense of all types of claims including employment related claims, 1983 actions, and other civil rights claims.
Daniel is committed to helping employers avoid, resolve, and prevail in employment disputes involving the full range of employment and labor issues. This includes litigation in state and federal courts and the representation of employers before administrative agencies over claims including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, accommodation, and state torts such as negligent supervision and hiring, intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress, defamation, invasion of privacy, and wrongful discharge allegations.
Daniel has served as counsel defending physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice actions for much of his legal career. He has extensive experience in defending all types of medical claims from the filing of the lawsuit through trial.
Daniel has extensive experience in defending property owners in premises liability actions. Specifically, Daniel has defended many “slip and fall” actions as well as other premises liability claims for many employers and property owners throughout South Georgia.
Daniel has experience in both residential and commercial real estate closings.
Daniel has served as defense counsel for many employers throughout South Georgia in the defense of workers’ compensation claims. Daniel has extensive experience in the defense of all types of workers’ compensation claims.
